Refund & Payments Policy

This Refund & Payments Policy governs all payments, subscriptions, and paid features offered on Studiely, operated by Qismat Ventures W.L.L. It applies across all current and future platforms — including mobile apps distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the Studiely website, and any institutional or enterprise licensing arrangements.

Platform-Based Purchases

If you purchase subscriptions or in-app content through a third-party platform:

  • Refunds are governed exclusively by the policies of the platform used
  • Studiely does not control refund approvals or timelines
  • Refund requests must be submitted directly via your Apple ID or Google Play account

By completing a purchase through these platforms, you acknowledge and agree that platform-specific refund rules apply.

Direct Purchases via Studiely

If Studiely offers direct payments now or in the future (e.g., credit card, bank transfer, invoicing):

Eligibility
  • Digital subscriptions or paid features may be eligible for a refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, only if the service has not been substantially accessed or used
  • Once digital content, premium features, or learning modules are accessed, refunds may be denied except where required by law
Auto-Renewal
  • Auto-renewing subscriptions may be cancelled at any time to prevent future charges
  • Previously billed periods are non-refundable
Processing
  • Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method, minus any applicable transaction or processing fees

Free Trials

Where free trials are offered:

  • No charges apply during the trial period
  • If not cancelled before trial expiry, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan
  • Charges incurred after conversion are non-refundable, except where legally required

To avoid being charged, cancel your free trial before the expiry date via your account settings or app store subscription management.

Institutional & Bulk Licensing

For schools, educational institutions, or organisations:

  • Refund terms are governed by the specific written agreement or invoice
  • Unless explicitly stated otherwise, institutional licenses are non-refundable once activated or provisioned

Child Accounts & Parental Responsibility
  • Purchases made on child accounts are the responsibility of the parent, guardian, or institution managing the account
  • Refunds will not be issued for unauthorised purchases resulting from failure to apply device-level or platform-level parental controls

Studiely aims to resolve billing disputes within 14 business days of receiving all required information. Where third-party platforms are involved, timelines may vary.

Platform Authority
For app-store purchases, users acknowledge that final dispute and refund authority may rest with the relevant platform.

Good-Faith Requirement
Repeated, fraudulent, or abusive dispute claims may result in suspension of payment privileges or account restrictions, subject to applicable law.

This clause does not limit statutory consumer rights or access to lawful remedies.

Studiely may update this Refund & Payments Policy from time to time. Continued use of paid services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
